2018 In Review
2018 has been a really good year for H2 Hub. As we all know, the watch industry has not been doing well and that overall sales for watches dropped by 20% around the world. However, H2 Hub continues to be a beacon of hope in this period.
With the year quickly coming to an end, it is fitting to look back on H2 Hub’s milestones and achievements even as we look forward to the new year and the opportunities it brings. Our efforts to focus on customer service has reaped great rewards.
This year, H2 Hub is proud and honoured to have been awarded the Young Entrepreneur Award at the annual Mr. This year’s awards ceremony was themed ‘Leap of Transformation’ and was a way of recognizing the efforts that businesses have made to continue thriving in a future full of uncertainties, in which the only way to succeed is to constantly adapt and reinvent themselves. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has encouraged Singaporeans to take full advantage of IT in order to progress towards being a smart nation and to increase productivity across the board. In line with this vision, our team has consistently worked on revamping our website, h2hub.com.sg, to allow for a 24-hour shopping experience for all our customers around the world. Fully integrated with our offline stores, online shoppers are also able to service their watches at our offline stores as well. Our efforts to service our customers better were recognised by our ministers of Singapore as well as they graced the event and shook the hands of our founders.
We have also rebranded with a new concept shop at Tampines Century Square, showcasing our focus on watch servicing and customer service. The table at the middle of the shop allows customers to customise their watches with hundreds of different straps available.
After months of thought and preparation and spending millions of dollars on professional watchmaking machinery imported from Japan, H2 Hub introduced a new personalisation service for customers this year, giving them the option of engraving a message or initial on the back case of their watch and also on the front of the dial. Whether as a gift for others or a treat for themselves, we hope that customers will enjoy this opportunity for a personal touch in their watches.

Additionally, we were able to bring in more house brands this year, to give customers a wider range of products to choose from. Brands such as Naviforce, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Cath Kidston, and Olivia Burton are just a few of the new brands that have been introduced. From sports to fashion watches, H2 Hub now carries a variety of watch types and you can be sure to find a suitable watch whatever your needs.

Named after the French expression “Bon Chic, Bon Genre”, which means “Good Attitude, Good Style”, BCBG Max Azria is a classic and iconic fashion brand credited for bringing luxury fashion to consumers at contemporary price points. Following their brand philosophy, which is to be committed to providing sophisticated pieces to women, they have came out with an extended accessories and jewellery line of their own including watches that range from being delicate and elegant to striking yet classy.
Established in 2012, Olivia Burton is known for their collection of feminine, intricate and creative designs at affordable prices. Inspired by English nature and their love for vintage style, founders Jemma and Lesa have created designs that are distinctly ornate with unique colour palettes and motifs, making Olivia Burton evolve into a lifestyle brand donned by women all over the world. Each collection released has its own unique element making it almost exclusive, giving them a true DNA and their own identity.
Founded in 1993, Cath Kidston has made a name for itself as the home of modern vintage for its iconic floral prints and intricate patterns that were inspired by the designer's childhood memories. She started producing her own vintage prints and products but with an added modern twist to it, making the brand a much-loved lifestyle brand even before it went global. Cath Kidston has expanded their product assortment into watches with their unique, colourful and witty prints that would be perfect for the female who appreciates a vintage quartz timepiece.
